Dreamscape (Intro): When I dabbled with lucid dreaming, I was able to enter a whole new realm of thought. I felt myself healing, as I was able to venture through life with complete control. Despite things going well I first, I ended up getting stuck in a dream for several days. Although I was only asleep for one night (in reality), I endured almost a full week of life within that 8 hour time window. Waking up, I began to face a perplexing combination of depersonalization and vivid dreaming, leading me to blur the line between dreams and reality. The absence of differentiation lead to me question if I was still alive, or if I’d become permanently trapped in my dreams.
